Celebration of the Educational Development Day 

On behalf of celebration of the Educational Development Day on 15th July 2025, we started with Welcome address given by Dr. M. Mohanbabu, HOD with speech on ‘The path of the education’. Our Vice Principal Dr. D. Muruganandam specified the achievements of “Kalvikkan Thiranthavar Kamarajar” and motivated the students. Few saplings were planted by Our Vice Principal, Faculty members and students at Physics Park. A talk on “Karma Veerar Kamarajar” was given by Ms. S. Abarna followed by few students. Mr. J. Arunkarthikeyan, Asst. Prof. of Physics concluded the plantation program with a vote of thanks.

Inauguration of the Zero Gravity Association by the Department of Physics with CA

The Zero Gravity Association of the Physics department at Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science, launched its inaugural function on 9th July 2025. On this occasion, the welcome address was delivered by Dr. M. Mohanbabu, HOD with the short story about the space science. The core of the event involved exploring the scientific ingenuity from the film “The Martian” and engaging in hands-on science games demonstrating concepts of gravity and space, inspiring students in STEM. The successful, student-centered function concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. J. Arunkarthikeyan, Asst. Prof. of Physics.

The FDP Cell organized a Faculty Development Program – “Master’s Drive”

The FDP Cell organized a Faculty Development Program for the teaching and non-teaching staff of our college on 28.06.2025 at the college auditorium. Mr. Bharath S, CEO of BIOS LABS Group, Chennai, served as the resource person for the event. He conducted engaging and interactive sessions covering various modules, such as classroom management and effective student handling strategies. His presentation style was lively, and he involved the participants actively through discussions and activities. The program was inaugurated by our Principal, Dr. V. Subathra. Dr. K. Venkatesan, Convenor of the FDP Cell, delivered the welcome address, and Mr. K.N. Babu, Convenor of IQAC, delivered the vote of thanks. The 46th Thirunakshatram (Avatara Utsavam) of His Holiness, The Jeer Sri Ranganatha Yatheendra Mahadesikan Swamigal

With the divine blessings of Sriman Narayana and the anugraham of our Acharya, the 46th Thirunakshatram (Avatara Utsavam) of His Holiness, the Jeer Sri Ranganatha Yatheendra Mahadesikan Swamigal was celebrated with grandeur and devotion on 30th June 2025 at our college. The celebrations commenced with Veda Parayanam, creating a sanctified atmosphere and invoking divine blessings for the well-being and longevity of our revered Acharya. Mangala Harathi and Ashirvadham were offered to all devotees present, along with specially prepared prasadam, reflecting the festive spirit of the occasion.

Anti-Ragging Awareness Program

Date: 30-06-2025 Organized by: Anti-Ragging and Discipline Committee Venue: Auditorium The Anti-Ragging and Discipline Committee of our college organized a Student Awareness Program on 30th June 2025 to educate students about the dangers and legal consequences of ragging. The program aimed to create awareness among students and ensure a safe and respectful campus environment. The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. N. Paranthaman, M.A., B.Ed., Inspector of Police, Maduranthakam, who addressed the students with an informative and impactful speech. He emphasized that ragging is a punishable offense under law and highlighted the role of students in preventing such activities. Students were encouraged to report any incidents without fear, and they pledged to uphold a ragging-free environment. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective commitment to promote discipline and respect on campus. The session was highly interactive and informative. Students were made aware of the strict laws against ragging and the support systems available to them. The session helped in building trust between students and authorities, encouraging proactive communication.
