Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science prioritizes staff welfare through comprehensive healthcare benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities, ensuring a supportive and enriching work environment.

STAFF TOUR

As a stress buster, the teaching and Non-teaching staff along with their family members are taken on a tour to different places which is wholly sponsored by the Management.

Gratuity for 5 years completed staff members

As a staff social welfare measure, the gratuity scheme has been implemented by the generous management. Those leaving the institution after continuous five years’ service are paid gratuity.

Financial Assistance to Faculty Members

Financial Assistance to Faculty members for attending Seminars/ Conferences and Workshops. 50% fess paid by faculty for Publication in UGC Care Journals is reimbursed by the Management.

MEDI-CLAIM INSURANCE

The Mediclaim insurance policy has been introduced for the benefit of teaching, non-teaching staff and their family members to relive them from the financial burden during the crisis period of illness and accidents.

Staff welfare includes special privileges such as extended maternity leave, generous sick leave policies, ex-gratia bonuses for Diwali, and continued full salary support during during COVID-19 , ensuring the well-being and security of our dedicated faculty and staff.

Recognition of 10 Year’s Service

Every year on Annual day celebration long standing teaching and non-teaching staff who have put in 10 years of service are recognized with awards and rewards. So far 17 staff have thus been recognized.

Statutory Benefits

Prioritizes statutory benefits for staff, encompassing Provident Fund (PF) contributions and coverage under the Employee State Insurance (ESI) scheme, safeguarding employees' financial well-being and healthcare needs.
