Awareness program on Drug Abuse and POCSO through lecture and Rally

On August 29, 2024, the two NSS Units along with the YRC, RRC, and Drive against Drugs Committee, organized a awareness program on Drug Abuse and POCSO through lecture and Rally. The event was led by the chief guest, Mrs. G. Amudha, Sub-Inspector of Police from Chengalpattu District, who delivered an impactful speech on the dangers of drug abuse and the features of the POCSO Act in protecting children. Following her address, students and staff participated in a rally through key areas of the community, carrying banners to raise awareness. The college Principal and Vice Principal took part in the event. The program successfully engaged participants and the local community, spreading crucial messages about drug prevention and child protection.

The health and hygiene committee of our college took a right set of circumstance to conduct an awareness programme to all the female students regarding their intimate hygiene. The session has been kick started in the morning in our college auditorium around 10.30am.
