YRC & RRC Units of Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science Madurantakam successfully conducted the AIDS Awareness Program on 20.12.2024 in association with Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society at College Auditorium. Our Principal Dr. V. SUBATHRA delivered the presidential address and Dr. D. Muruganandam, Vice Principal delivered a speech. The Chief guest Thirumathi J. INDIRA, ICT Chengalpattu created awareness about AIDS and way & means of protecting youth from the dreaded disease. The 180 YRC & RRC Volunteers had participated in this event. The pledge was administered to all the YRC & RRC Volunteers.

Department of Maths with CA : Millet Food Festi

The Department of Mathematics with Computer Applications organized a Millet Food Festi on 12.09.2024, inaugurated by Dr. V. Subathra, Principal and Dr. D Muruganandam Vice Principal as chief guests. Thirty students participated,  showcasing a variety of nutritious millet-based dishes. The dishes were displayed for other students as well. The event aimed to promote healthy eating and sustainability through creative culinary displays. It fostered student engagement and highlighted the importance of traditional grains. The festival was a great success, drawing appreciation from all attendees.

National Space Day 2024: Inspiring Curiosity and Passion for Space Science at the Department of Physics

The National Space Day celebration was held on 23rd August 2024 at the Physics Laboratory, Department of Physics with CA, coordinated by Mr. J. Arunkarthikeyan, Asst. Prof. of Physics. Dr. M. Mohanbabu, HOD of Physics delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of National Space Day in fostering interest in space exploration. Various competitions such as Rangoli, Drawing, Paper presentation, Speech and Scientific models were organized to engage the students. Dr. V. Subathra provided an overview of the day’s events and their relevance to Physics. The event was memorable and inspiring that successfully ignited curiosity and passion for space science among the participants. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. E.
