An International Conference titled “Emerging Trends in Commerce, Management and Economics ICETCME-2025” organized by the Departments of Commerce, Commerce with CA, Business Administration and Economics will take place on 13th and 14th February 2025.
On January 26th, 2025, Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science proudly celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The Principal’s address delved on the theme of 2025 Republic Day “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas”. The event featured a series of engaging activities, including the hoisting of the National flag, followed by the speeches delivered by the students that highlighted the significance of Republic Day, the journey of India’s independence, the difference of the flag hoisting between the Independence Day and Republic Day and the importance of upholding democracy and unity in diversity.

The NSS Units I and II, along with the DAD Committee of Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science, Madurantakam, organized a Drug Awareness Mega Sign Campaign and Pledge Taking Program. The event, attended by more than 1,000 students and staff, was graced by the college principal, Dr. V. Subathra, who emphasized the importance of a drug-free society. Participants signed a banner pledging to stay drug-free and took a collective oath led by NSS Programme Officer. The program successfully raised awareness and strengthened the commitment to a drug-free campus.

YRC & RRC Units of Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science Madurantakam successfully conducted the AIDS Awareness Program on 20.12.2024 in association with Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society at College Auditorium. Our Principal Dr. V. SUBATHRA delivered the presidential address and Dr. D. Muruganandam, Vice Principal delivered a speech. The Chief guest Thirumathi J. INDIRA, ICT Chengalpattu created awareness about AIDS and way & means of protecting youth from the dreaded disease. The 180 YRC & RRC Volunteers had participated in this event. On 25.09.2024, the Department of Mathematics with CA organized a motivational session featuring our University Rank Holder, Ms. R. Ponniyammal, for the current year students. She shared her inspiring journey of academic excellence, emphasizing the importance of hard work, time management, and overcoming challenges. Her personal experiences resonated with the audience, especially during the interactive question-and-answer session, where she provided valuable advice on managing academic pressure and preparing for exams. On 24th September 2024, the two NSS units of our college celebrated NSS Day by conducting a tree plantation program on campus. Volunteers actively participated in planting saplings and promoting environmental responsibility. The event emphasized the importance of greenery and sustainability.
