Cybercrime Awareness Programme

The two Nss units organized a “Cybercrime awareness programme” on 8th July 2024. The Chief guest was Mr B Dhanasekaran, Sub-Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Police station, Chengalpattu District. He made a PowerPoint presentation to explain about the topic. He elaborated on the case he dealt with. The programme was attended by Mr N Raja, the Sub-Inspector of Police of Madurantakam. The gathering was welcomed by Mr. E.Gurunathan, NSS Programme Officer and thanked by Mr R Dhineshbabu, RRC Programme officer.  173 students attended the programme.

Badminton selection trials have been conducted for University of Madras

On July 2nd, 2024, the badminton selection trials have been conducted for University of Madras at 11 am. The event was graced by Dr. V. Subathra, Principal, Dr. D. Muruganandam, Vice Principal, and Mr. K. N. Babu, IQAC Coordinator. Ms. C. Muruugeswari and Mr. M. Murali, the Physical Directors of the college, were instrumental in organizing the arrangements for the trials. During the event, the Principal spoke to the students about the significance of sports, emphasizing their importance in overall development. The Vice Principal encouraged students to actively participate in zonal level sports competitions. Dr. M. Mohanbabu, HOD of Physics and a Sports Committee member, hosted the proceedings as the emcee. Mrs. C. Murugeswari delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for their efforts in making the event successful. Following the formalities, students enthusiastically engaged in playing badminton on the same day.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY- 2024

10th year International Yoga Day was observed on 21st June 2024 by Physical Education Directors, NSS, YRC and RRC Units of the college. Smt. Sasirekha & Ms. Shilpa, Yoga Trainer of Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Chennai, was the Guest of the day and 60Sports student, YRC, RRC & NSS Volunteers and Teaching staff also eagerly participated in the yoga event.Thanks to our Prime Minister for his soulful support in uplifting the yoga practice in day-to-day life for our bright and healthy future.
