The five days of online Faculty development programme (FDP) on “Empowering Educators: Strategics for holistic teaching and professional growth” was organized on behalf of Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) of our college from 18.12.2023 to 22.12.2023. On the first day, Dr. S. Meenakshi Head and Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Associate Director – Academic courses (UGC) gave a lecture to enrich the faculty members on the topic “Teaching techniques” on 18.12.2023. On the Second day, Dr. R. Latha of Head and Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Applicationsadvocated “Mental health, Self Esteem and Quality of life of teachers”on 19.12.2023and “Work life balance”was the third topic handled by Dr. D. S. Lathaof Assistant Professor and Research Guide in the Department of Management Studies on 20.12.2023. Dr. K. Nagarajan, FormerProfessor and Head in the Department of Mathematics gave a fascinating lecture on “Fascinating numbers” on 21.12.2023. Dr. A. Subramanian Principal, GSS Jain Arts and Science College handled the last sessionof the FDP on the topic “Identifying the personality traits for effective teaching”on 22.12.2023. On March 20, 2024, an awareness program on road safety was jointly organized by NSS and RRC, featuring Mr. Manimaran, the Traffic Inspector of Police, as the chief guest. Mr. Manimaran provided insights into traffic rules and the repercussions of non-compliance to approximately 250 actively participating students.

The Drug Awareness Program, conducted on 15.11.23, aimed to educate and raise awareness about the perils of drug abuse within our community.
