Parents’ Meeting for the odd semester of the academic year 2025–2026 was held on Saturday, 23rd August 2025, at our premises. The aim of this meeting was to strengthen the relationship among parents, students and the college. The discussion focused on the review of academic progress, attendance, behavioural observations, skill development, career counselling, co-curricular activities, competitive exams, internships, digital classes and scholarships. Parents’ active participation was encouraging as they appreciated the way the meeting was arranged, the transparency, productive environment provided by the college.

Parent-Teacher Meeting – Department of Mathematics with CA

The Department of Mathematics with Computer Applications conducted a Parents–Teachers Meeting on 23.08.2025. Parents of the first-year students and second-year students attended the meeting and interacted with the staff members. The discussion mainly focused on the students’ academic performance, discipline, CAT examination results, and attendance records. The staff members of our department also offered guidance and suggestions to the parents and students on ways to improve academic progress and overall discipline.

A Parents-Teachers Meet was held on 23/08/2025 at our college. The aim was to discuss students’ academic performance and attendance. The HOD welcomed all the parents warmly. Faculty members met with parents to share student progress. Individual feedback was given to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. Parents actively participated and shared their concerns. Teachers suggested ways to improve student learning. The meeting helped build a better connection between parents and Teachers.

Parent-Teacher Meeting – Department of Physics with CA

The meeting started at 10:00 AM, with a welcome address by Dr. M. Mohanbabu, Head of the Department of Physics. Agenda discussed: UNOM result analysis, test performance, attendance, dress code, discipline, and scholarship information. Parents were informed about students’ progress and improvements, while those needing extra academic support were identified. Scholarship details and eligibility criteria were shared, encouraging students to apply. Parents were requested to support participation in extra-curricular activities. Positive feedback was received, with appreciation for conducting the meeting. Suggestions from parents included introducing bus service for students. The meeting concluded with a joint commitment to student development. Parent-Teacher Meeting for the Department of Physics with CA began at 10:00 AM on 23.08.2025 with warm welcome. The agenda covered are Student performance on UNOM examination and CAT, Attendance, General behaviour, Scholarship information and Extra-curricular activities. Tech Nest Association Fusion Fest

Tech Nest Association of the department of Computer Science was inaugurated on 20.08.2025. Students actively participated in various events on the first day of Fusion Fest ’25 organized by the department.  These events were arranged for encouraging students to nurture their creativity and excel in extracurricular activities apart from academics. The events organized were 1. Nail Art – Participants expressed their imagination through colourful designs.2. Pencil Sketch – Students showcased the skills with beautiful pencil art3. Pot Painting – Artistic creativity was brought to life on earthen pots4. Vegetable Carving – Innovative carvings on vegetables with detail and precision was amazing5. The Department of BCA conducted a one-day event “TECH BYTES”

On 18/08/2025 in the college Auditorium, the event was inaugurated by our Principal, Vice Principal, and staff members. Students participated in events like Paper Presentation, Quiz, Action Beats, Bioscope, and Brain buster. Each event showcased the creativity, knowledge, and enthusiasm of the participants. The Principal and faculty appreciated the efforts and encouraged students. Winners were awarded with certificates and prizes during the valedictory session. The event was a grand success and ended with a vote of thanks.

POCSO and Cyber Crime Safety Awareness Week

The NSS Units and ICC Committee of Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science organized the POCSO and Cyber Crime Safety Awareness Week from 4th August 2025 to 8th August 2025. The first day’s event was inaugurated by Mrs. Uma Maheshwari, Inspector of Police, All-Women Police Station, Melmaruvathur. After the inauguration, a miming competition was conducted with four teams presenting their performances. On 5th August, a speech competition was held with nine participants. On 6th August, a short film competition took place with eight teams presenting their short films. On 7th August, a poetry competition was organized with thirteen participants. The final day, 8th August, featured a debate competition with three teams presenting. The week concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where prizes for first, second, and third places were awarded, and participation certificates were distributed to all participants.
