The inauguration of this association was held on 18th October 2023. Dr. K. Sridevi, Former Head of the Department of B.Com with Computer Applications and Mr. K. Raja Assistant Professor and Miss. C. Economics Association
The 5th year of Sri Malolan Economics Association (SMEA) was inaugurated on 5th October, 2023. To pay a heart rendering homage and tribute to a great and dynamic personality Dr. M.S Swaminathan who was rightly called as a “Father of Green Revolution” in India, silence was observed for few minutes. A paper presentation on “The Relevance of Gandhian Economic Ideas” as a part of Gandhi Jayanthi celebration was also held on the same day and 10 students volunteers actively presented their thoughts in front of live audience and the best speakers were awarded with prizes and certificates.
