Drug abuse awareness program

The Drug Awareness Program, conducted on 15.11.23, aimed to educate and raise awareness about the perils of drug abuse within our community. The program focused on providing comprehensive information on various aspects of drug abuse, including its impact on health, addiction, risk factors, prevention strategies, community support, legal consequences, and avenues for recovery.Our chief guest was Mrs.P.Lokeshwari ,Inspector Prohibition and Enforcement Wing (PEW)Madurantakam. Oath taking agianst drugs was observed on 11.08.2023 which was arranged by two NSS units and Drive Against Drug Committee wherein students took pledge to stay and help others stay away from narcotics and alcohol

Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme

Entrepreneurship development cell in unison with UNOM-HUB organised an “Awareness programme” on 10.01.2023 and 11.01.2023. INVITATION Session-1 First session was addressed by Mr.MARIMUTHU RAJAGOPLAN, charted Accountant, Chennai on the topic “Start-Up & Company Registration, Statutory Registration, GST”. Session-2 Second session was addressed by Dr. D. Muruganantham  on the topic“Business Model & Business Plan Preparation”. Session-3 Third session was rendered by Mr.V.V. Kumar, Consultant- HR (Human Recourse) Chennai on the topic “IT, ESI, EPF, EPS” he explained about IT, ESI in details. Session-4 Mr.J. Johanson, Consultant (Human Rights), Chennai spoke on the topic “Highlighting Govt Scheme for Entrepreneur – UYEGP, PMEGP, MUDRA, Bank Linkage”.

World AIDS day

World AIDS day was observed on 01.12.2023 with the aim of generating  awareness about AIDS /HIV, Stigma associated with the disease and its prevention measures. A back drop was provided by TAMIL NADU STATE AIDS CONTROL SOCIETY in which our District Educational Officer Dr. P.Iyyasami was the guest of the program. A signature campaign was organised and a pledge was administered to students.
