On 25.09.2024, the Department of Mathematics with CA organized a motivational session featuring our University Rank Holder, Ms. R. Ponniyammal, for the current year students. Her personal experiences resonated with the audience, especially during the interactive question-and-answer session, where she provided valuable advice on managing academic pressure and preparing for exams. On 24th September 2024, the two NSS units of our college celebrated NSS Day by conducting a tree plantation program on campus. Volunteers actively participated in planting saplings and promoting environmental responsibility. The event emphasized the importance of greenery and sustainability.

The Teachers’ Day celebration was held on 5th September 2024 at 10 AM in the Physics Laboratory to honor and appreciate the invaluable contribution of teachers to society, organized by Students of the department. The program began with a warm welcome from J. Dimpala, a III B.Sc, Physics student. A heartfelt speech delivered by Dr. M. Mohanbabu, HOD of Physics who emphasized the significance of teachers in shaping the future of students followed by the speeches from the faculty members. Dr. V. Subathra, the principal addressed the gathering, praising the efforts of the teaching faculty in maintaining the academic standards and motivating students. The celebration featured various cultural performances by the students, including songs, dances, and poetry recitations, all dedicated to their teachers. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by A.
