Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science organized a Mass Anti-Drug Pledge Campaign under the guidance of the Government of Tamil Nadu on 11th August 2025  to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy, drug-free society. The event was held in the presence of the Principal, Dr. V. Subathra, and Vice Principal,               Dr. D. Muruganantham, along with faculty members, NSS, and YRC volunteers. The Principal addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of saying no to drugs and leading a disciplined life. All the students, teaching and non-teaching staff actively participated in the pledge-taking ceremony, solemnly committing to stay away from drugs and to encourage others to live a drug-free life. More than 1000 participants joined the campaign, making it a meaningful and impactful event.

Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science actively participated in the #DrugFreeTNCampusChallenge organized under the guidance of the Government of Tamil Nadu from 5th August 2025 to 10th August 2025 to create awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse among the student community. As part of the campaign, students promoted the #DrugFreeTNCampus message on social media platforms, including Twitter and Instagram, by posting awareness content, pledge statements, posters, and short videos encouraging a drug-free lifestyle. A total of 600 students took part in the challenge, making the campaign widely visible and impactful online. This digital awareness initiative successfully reached a broader audience beyond the campus and motivated peers to join the cause of building a healthy, drug-free society.
