Two NSS Units organized a programme on Fire Safety in coordination with Fire Service Department was organised on 29-08-2023. The Fire safety awarness was given by Mr. A. Srinivasan, Station officer (T), Fire Service Office, Madurantakam. He demonstrated the ways to handle fire accidents and ways in means of protecting during fire accidents.
On 24th August 2023, two NSS units and DAD committee with the motive to make India Drug Free, conducted Essay writing, Verse writing and Elocution competitions related to awareness on Drugs and its harmful effects on young generation and the society.

Two units of NSS organized a Blood Donation camp on 18-08-2023 in unison with Rotary club of Madurantakam and Dr. MGR Medical University. The camp was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Sivasakthi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Madurantakam. 110 volunteers donated their blood.
