NSS, YRC & RRC Organize Drug Awareness Rally

The NSS, YRC and RRC Units in collaboration with the Drive Against Drugs (DAD) Committee, organized a Drug Awareness Rally on 29 June 2026 to observe the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

The rally was formally inaugurated by Dr. D. Muruganandam, Principal, Thiru. Sugenthiran, Municipal Commissioner, Madurantakam, and Thiru. B. Enayathbasha, Sub-Inspector of Police, Madurantakam, who flagged off the rally.

The rally commenced from the Madurantakam Bus Stand and covered approximately 2 kilometres through the surrounding areas. NSS volunteers, faculty members, and students actively participated by carrying awareness placards and raising slogans highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a drug-free life.
