Guest Lecture on Digital Transformation in Finance & Accounting

The Department of Commerce, Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science, Madurantakam, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Digital Transformation in Finance & Accounting” on 2nd July 2026 at 10.00 a.m. in the College Auditorium. Mr. A. Charles, Head of the Department of Commerce organized this event.

The guest speaker, Mr. Narayanan Asuri, Senior Vice President – Finance, Omega Healthcare Management delivered an insightful lecture on the role of digital transformation in the finance and accounting sector. He highlighted emerging technologies, evolving industry practices, digital tools, and the importance of developing technological competencies to meet the expectations of the corporate world. He also shared valuable insights on career opportunities and the future scope of finance professionals in the digital era.
