Youth Red Cross (YRC)
Youth Red Cross refers to the youth division of the International red cross movement. It is a humanitarian organization that aims to empower young people to participate in human activities and provide a culture of peace and non-violence.
Culture of peace and non-violence
- The main aim of the YRC is to engage the students to involve in community service, disaster preparedness and response, health and hygiene promotion, blood donation and so on.
- At Sri Malolan college, the YRC focuses on inculcating in young minds a sense of social responsibility, civic sense and empathy towards fellow human beings.
- It serves as a platform to make a positive impact on students, help them and aims,at imparting valuable life skills and contribute to building a more compassionate world of younger generation.
