Place of Visit: “Vainu Bappu Observatory”, Kavalur, Tirupattur district
SUMMARY: 41 students of Department of Physics with CA went for Field visit to “Vainu Bappu Observatory”, Kavalur on 18-03-2024 from all years. An Observatory demonstration was given on 3rd largest telescope in Asia. Night sky observation had been done, that the students visualized the Moon and Jupitar through an optical telescope. Students were surprised to learn about the Observatory and involved eagerly in demo session.
