On July 2nd, 2024, the badminton selection trials have been conducted for University of Madras at 11 am. The event was graced by Dr. V. Subathra, Principal, Dr. D. Muruganandam, Vice Principal, and Mr. K. N. Babu, IQAC Coordinator. Ms. C. Muruugeswari and Mr. M. Murali, the Physical Directors of the college, were instrumental in organizing the arrangements for the trials.
During the event, the Principal spoke to the students about the significance of sports, emphasizing their importance in overall development. The Vice Principal encouraged students to actively participate in zonal level sports competitions.
Dr. M. Mohanbabu, HOD of Physics and a Sports Committee member, hosted the proceedings as the emcee. Mrs. C. Murugeswari delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for their efforts in making the event successful.
Following the formalities, students enthusiastically engaged in playing badminton on the same day.
