Institutional Drug Awareness Committee Meeting Held to Promote a Drug-Free Society

An Institutional Drug Awareness Committee Meeting was organized by the Tamil Nadu Police Department, Chengalpattu District, Madurantakam Sub-Division, on 25 August 2026 with the objective of creating awareness among students and the public about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of building a drug-free society. The programme was graced by Tmt. Ayman Jamal, I.P.S., Superintendent of Police, Chengalpattu District, as the Chief Guest, along with Tr. Deepak Rajini, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Madurantakam Sub-Division. Our college was represented by Mr. E. Gurunathan, NSS Programme Officer, along with five NSS volunteers. The meeting provided valuable insights into the harmful effects of drug abuse, its impact on individuals and society, and the role of students and educational institutions in preventing drug-related activities.
