Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science (SMCAS) successfully organized a two-day International Conference on Mathematical Modelling and Computational Innovations on February 21-22, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, research scholars, and students from various universities and colleges, with over 1000 attendees and 100 research papers presented in both online and offline modes across four parallel sessions.
The conference commenced with a welcome address by Dr. K. Venkatesan, Associate Professor in Mathematics and Convenor of the Conference. This was followed by the inaugural address by Dr. V. Subathra, Principal of SMCAS.
A key highlight of the event was the release of the conference proceedings (Book of Abstracts) by the Principal and Vice principal of SMCAS, along with the Heads of the Departments of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Applications.
The proceedings were then handed over to the day’s chief guests:

Day 1 featured engaging technical sessions and research presentations, covering various aspects of mathematical modelling and computational innovations.

The formal proceedings ended with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. S. Priya, Head and Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, who extended heartfelt appreciation to the esteemed guests, speakers, participants, organizing committee, and technical team for their collective efforts in making the conference a resounding success.
The conference provided an excellent platform for knowledge sharing, fostering collaborations, and exploring innovative research ideas in the field of Mathematical Modeling and Computational Innovations.
