Industrial Visit to Birla Planetarium & Anna Centenary Library
As part of our curriculum, on 25th July 2026, 48 students accompanied by faculty members participated in an industrial visit to Birla Planetarium and the Anna Centenary Library, Chennai. At Birla Planetarium, students explored interactive exhibits featuring 3D scientific sessions, transportation systems, organ models, everyday science applications, and energy-related equipment’s. The highlight of the visit was the Space Science video session which showcased visualizations of the planets with satellites, orbital movements, and their properties using satellite imagery and animations. The session sparked great enthusiasm and curiosity among the students. The visit concluded at the Anna Centenary Library, where students explored its extensive collection of books and digital learning resources, reinforcing the importance of reading and research. The industrial visit provided an enriching learning experience by blending scientific knowledge with practical exposure and inspiring students to explore science and space technology.
