Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event commenced with a solemn prayer, followed by the singing of “Tamizhil Thaai Vaazhthu” (the Tamil anthem), and the Flag Song. The National Flag was then unfurled by the college Principal, Dr. D.Muruganandham, amidst patriotic chants and applause. Presidential address was also rendered by him.
The theme of “Swatantra ka Mantra – Vande Mataram and Samriddhi ka Mantra – Atmanirbhar Bharat” was delivered by Dr. V. Subathra, Director- Academics.
The Vice-Principal Mr. K. N. Babu, spoke about protecting Nations’ freedom. The event featured a series of engaging activities like patriotic songs, stirring speeches, heartfelt poems on republic day and its importance. The Event concluded with National Anthem.
