A total of 100 volunteers actively participated in the camp. During this period, the students engaged in “Swacch Bharat” cleaning programme in the Panchayat Union Middle School, a Play School. The steps leading to Murugan temple at Perumberkandigai hill was also cleaned by the volunteers. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about HIV and AIDS and to promote responsible and healthy behavior. Doctors delivered informative sessions explaining the causes, modes of transmission, symptoms, prevention methods, and available treatments for HIV/AIDS. On this occasion, the volunteers took a pledge to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation. The Chief guest was Ms.Saranyadevi , the District Revenue Officer, Madurantakam Taluk Tahsildar, RDO and District fire officer were also present. Eye Hospital, Perungalathur, organized a Free Eye Health Care Camp on 04.09.2025 at the college campus.The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, with around 300 students undergoing eye check-ups conducted by the expert medical team from M.N. They appreciated the efforts of the department and gave valuable suggestions for the improvement of students’ performance. The aim of this meeting was to strengthen the relationship among parents, students and the college. The discussion focused on the review of academic progress, attendance, behavioural observations, skill development, career counselling, co-curricular activities, competitive exams, internships, digital classes and scholarships. Parents of the first-year students and second-year students attended the meeting and interacted with the staff members. The discussion mainly focused on the students’ academic performance, discipline, CAT examination results, and attendance records. The first day’s event was inaugurated by Mrs. Uma Maheshwari, Inspector of Police, All-Women Police Station, Melmaruvathur. After the inauguration, a miming competition was conducted with four teams presenting their performances. On 5th August, a speech competition was held with nine participants. On 6th August, a short film competition took place with eight teams presenting their short films.
